The new British law allows to collect at one time invested money in savings plans, and many citizens have chosen to destine it for the purchase of properties.
The recovery of the real estate market on the Costa Blanca found an unexpected support this year thanks to the changes introduced by the British law on pension plans. Since last April 6th, the citizens of this country can have in one bill all the money accumulated in pension plans, and many have chosen to destine it for the purchase of second homes on the Costa Blanca, including Ciudad Quesada as one of the preferred destinations.
It is an alternative that offers them a place with a pleasant weather to spend their retirement years, but can also profit by the rental of the property during the time they do not use it.
The impact in the province of Alicante has been immediate, the sales among British citizens have increased by 50% during the first semester of the year.
Our town, Ciudad Quesada, has been particularly benefited area because it is already known by British people and has a large colony of fellow citizens and also has an infrastructure and a level of security that lack other locations.
It also helps that property prices in Costa Blanca are below those offered elsewhere in Spain.
